Asian Wedding Photography Tips
Mobile Phones:
During the ceremony or on stage, please kindly ask guests not to stand in front of the photographers.
Please remind guests to avoid distracting you while taking their own pictures.
To ensure smooth coordination, kindly WhatsApp me the full addresses and timings of the locations 3 days before the event.
Bride Preparation:
Please hang your wedding dress and veil in a well-lit area. Arrange your jewelry and shoes in a neat, accessible spot for photography and filming.
Photo checklist:

Leaving the house
Getting into the car
Make sure to wait for the photographer to arrive at the venue or place of worship before you, so we can capture your entrance. Also, please allow us time to set up our equipment and take some shots of the venue's decor.
Travel Time:
Please allow sufficient time for us to travel between different locations to capture every moment without feeling rushed.
Ceremony Guidelines
Muslim Ceremony:
Always leave a gap for the photographers to capture the key moments.
Be sure to capture the exchange of vows and the dua (prayers).
During the signing of the certificate, ensure that both sides are captured.
When the bride enters, walk slowly to ensure we get a beautiful shot.
Leave a small gap between the bride and bridesmaids to allow for clear photos.
Sikh Ceremony:
In the morning, please ensure there’s a gap for photographers to capture your entrance and ceremony.
Let us know when the groom arrives at the bride’s house.
Allow time for the photographer to reach the Gurdwara before you.
We’ll need 10 minutes to set up equipment at the Gurdwara.
If the bride and groom arrive before the photographer, kindly wait outside so we can film your entrance.
If a civil ceremony is held, please inform us beforehand.
Hindu Ceremony:
Ensure there is a gap for the photographers to capture important moments.
Let us know when the bride and groom make their entrance.
Couple Pictures:Capturing beautiful couple portraits and film footage is essential to tell the story of your day.
Christian & Civil Ceremony Tips
Christian Ceremony:
When the bride enters, please walk slowly so we can capture the moment.
Maintain a small gap between the bride and bridesmaids for clear shots.
When the best man presents the rings, ensure he doesn’t stand in front of the bride, groom, or photographer.
Civil Ceremony:
No photography is allowed during the signing of the certificate, but we’ll recreate the moment afterward:
Please pretend to sign again for the photos.
We’ll take photos with witnesses.
Group pictures with bridesmaids, best man, and parents.
Pictures of the bride and groom receiving the certificate.
At the end of the ceremony, please wait for your guests to leave before you exit.
To allow for confetti shots, ask your guests to form two lines at the exit of the registry office or church so the couple can walk through.
Post-Ceremony Group Shots:
Group photos with all guests.
Bride and groom with bridesmaids and best man.
Bride and groom with each set of parents.
Bride and groom with extended family and friends (if desired).
Couple shots for 15 to 30 minutes.
Additional Tips:
For outdoor couple pictures, flat shoes are a good idea if necessary.
If we don’t find a good location, we can take photos at the reception.
Please leave a space at the bride and groom’s table for the photographer to capture moments.
Finally:
Shots of the bride and groom cutting the cake.
First dance.
Farewell Moments:
Muslim Weddings: When you places the scarf on the bride, please allow us to capture this moment.
Sikh Weddings: We should arrive at the bride’s house before you. When you pick up the bride, we’ll capture this special moment.
